The Local Plan is the main planning document a local planning authority uses to set out their aspirations for development in their area. It is influenced by public engagement and a robust evidence base, to ensure they are both aspirational and deliverable.
The council will keep stakeholders updated on the latest updates regarding the review. This will include:

- technical documents
- consultation opportunities
- next steps.
Call for views consultation
The call for views consultation (Regulation 18) completed on Monday 24 June 2024. This was first stage of consultation for the plan.
Evidence
The council is publishing its Local Plan evidence base as it is being completed. The following evidence base documents are available for download:
Printed copies
Printed copies of the consultation information and questionnaire are available for inspection at the Civic Centre by appointment. Please email localplan@hillingdon.gov.uk to arrange inspection.
Our libraries have computers, printing facilitates and free wifi access if stakeholders would like to print their own copies. If you would like assistance utilising these facilities, please speak to a member of staff at the library. Find you nearest library branch.
Next stage
The next major phase of the programme is proposed to be consultation on the proposed submission of the Local Plan in early 2025.

- Adoption: 2026/27
