We are committed to recycling as much of our residents' waste as possible by providing free and easy-to-use weekly collections.

Important: Batteries should be disposed of separately in battery recycling points in the borough.

Accepted items
- Cables and plugs
- Small kitchen appliances, such as kettles, toasters and blenders
- Personal grooming products, such as hairdryers, straighteners, electric toothbrushes
- Power tools, such as drills and sanders
- Small household electricals, such as alarm clocks and radios, CD and DVD players, games consoles, small speakers and headphones
- Personal technology, such as mobile phones, laptops and tablets, and cameras - remember to remove personal data and memory cards
Please note: There is a size limit of 25cm x 25cm, which is roughly equivalent to a 4-slice toaster.
Items not accepted
- Microwaves
- Large electrical items, such as floor lamps, fridges and freezers, and vacuum cleaners
- Lawnmowers
- Lightbulbs
- TVs
- Vapes and e-cigarettes
