Aim High - SEND youth forum
Aim High is our new forum for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
Aim High meets on the second Tuesday of every month, from 4.30pm to 6pm, at the Civic Centre, Uxbridge, UB8 1UW.
Why join the SEND youth forum?
At our regular meetings, you can:
- take part in a range of fun activities
- talk with professionals about your experiences as a young person with SEND
- find out how the Local Area Partnership can improve support for children and young people with SEND
- have your voice heard and help other young people with SEND to have their opinions recognised.
Refreshments and activities are provided.
Can I take part?
- Are you aged 14 to 26-years-old with lived experience of special educational needs and disabilities?
- Would you like to share your experiences and knowledge?
- Would you like to have your voice heard?
- Would you like to improve and shape the future of the council and our services?
- Do you have an Education, Health and Care Plan, or do you identify as having SEND?
- Do you currently live in the borough of Hillingdon?
If you answered 'yes' to all the above questions, we would love to hear from you.
