Carols at the Christmas Tree Lights Switch On

Each year we invite up to 5 primary schools to sing Christmas or winter-themed songs for the carols at the Christmas tree lights switch on . This event is suitable for confident groups who can sing in at least 2-part harmony.

Please note:

  • We will prioritise schools who have not participated in this event before.
  • If you are selected for this event you may not be able to participate in Sing! Primary Singing Festival.
  • The event will be outdoors, or if the weather is poor, on the main steps to the civic centre.
  • School groups must be able to travel to the event themselves and must be able to provide enough staff to cover their own safeguarding requirements.
  • Deadline for entries was Friday 27 September 2024 (any entries after this date will be added to a waiting list).
