Hayes Parades (Uxbridge Road)
- Creating a new civic square outside Lidl

- Extensive landscaping with new planters and a mix of street trees and low-level planting
- More efficient 'Stop and Shop' parking with individually-marked bays
- Installation of 'Hayes Gateway' signage on the approach to the parades
Hayes Town Centre
Future proposals
- Light and sound installation to subway connecting the station to Blyth Road
- Implementation of town centre clock to complement the 'Gold Disc' feature
- Boardwalk extension installed at Botwell Bridge, creating a cycle lane and an attractive walkway with open views of the Grand Union Canal
- New paving, street lighting and street furniture throughout to complement town centre works
- Bus stop improvements to accommodate new routes, such as the 278, linking Ruislip to Heathrow via Hayes
- Introducing new drop off / pick up spaces in Blyth Road for nearby Hayes and Harlington crossrail station
- Re-opening Station Road to through traffic, including buses
- Introducing a continuous dedicated cycle lane throughout the town centre
- New on-street parking places in Crown Close
- Replacing the existing bandstand with a new 'Gold Disc' canopy, reflecting the musical heritage of Hayes
- Brighter street lighting, which illuminates the footpaths as well as the road

- New raised table at the Adelphi Way junction to provide an informal crossing point
- Installation of a mural to the Post Office wall to give a unique feature
Northwood Hills
- Introduction of a tree lines boulevard within the carriageway
- Terrazzo paving installed within the station forecourt
- New paving, street lighting and street furniture throughout the town centre
- Parking bays redesigned to allow for safer entry and exit onto the high street
- Installation of 'Metroland' inspired mural along both side of the station bridge
- 36 shop front grants offered to improve the appearance of independent shops
- Visual merchanting training offered to 90 businesses
Ruislip Manor
- Post Office relocated to a more prominent and central location
- Railway bridge painted with Ruislip Manor lettering, and LED lighting added to the underside
- New paving, street lighting and street furniture throughout
- Installation of murals, providing signage to library and Shenley Park
- 66 shop front grants offered to improve the appearance of independent shops
- Visual merchanting training offered to 73 businesses
Ryefield Avenue, Hillingdon
- 'Stop and Shop' parking introduced
- Central island installed to prevent obstructive double parking
- All paving, including private forecourts, replaced
- New street lighting and street furniture throughout
- Installation of mural with Ryefield Avenue branding
- 13 shop front grants offered to improve the appearance of independent shops
Uxbridge Town Centre
- New paving, street furniture and feature catenary lighting outside the Tesco store
- Opening of Fassnidge Yard with new surfacing, street furniture, landscaping and bespoke wayfinding signage
- Installation of a mural dedicated to the late Kate Fassnidge
- Introduction of new bin storage units within Bakers Yard to improve the key route connecting Uxbridge bus station and the town centre
- Decluttering existing street furniture and consistent use of high-quality furniture throughout the town centre
- Extending the use of York stone paving in the town centre (between Vine Street and St Andrews Roundabout)
- Bus stop improvements, including the introduction of a new shelter in Vine Street
- 28 shop front grants offered to improve the appearance of independent shops
West Drayton Crossrail
- Improvements to Station Approach and the area around the new station building, including reconstruction of the carriageway
2018 to 2020 improvements - funded by Crossrail Complementary Measures and Hillingdon Council
- Installation of a historic timeline mural to West Drayton bridge
- Full cleaning and sealing of the bridge, and pigeon mitigation
- Upgrade of lighting to pedestrian walkways
- Footpath and carriageway improvements in Warwick Road
Yiewsley and West Drayton
- Grand Union Canal bridge feature
- Piazza areas with new seating and trees
- New paving between Falling Lane and Swan Road
