Granite mushrooms with small circular black discs, which can be inscribed in gold lettering are located within our Babies and Children's Memorial Garden.
Due to the size and shape of the disc, inscription is limited to 5 lines (69 characters, including spaces). We recommend placing the name on line 3, as this is the longest line (17 characters, including spaces).
Each mushroom has 4 or 5 discs available for lease.
Please note: No planting or placing of any items of any type is allowed at the memorial. Any adornments placed at the memorial mushrooms will be removed.
Lease
Memorial mushrooms are leased for an initial period of 10 years, including disc and inscription.
How to order
Once we have received your order, a letter plan will be sent to you. This allows for you to check the inscription and make any amendments before the disc is engraved.
Full payment must accompany your application. We are able to accept most credit and debit cards. Please make cheques payable to 'London Borough of Hillingdon'.
The council reserves the right to alter any application that is deemed unsuitable and to change the design of any memorial without giving prior notice.
