London Living Rent is a type of intermediate affordable housing for middle-income Londoners who want to build up savings to buy a home. London Living Rent provides high quality rented homes on stable tenancies, with rents based on 1/3 of local household incomes. Money you save on rent can go towards a deposit for your own home.

Who is eligible?
Applicants should have a gross annual household income of no more than £60,000 per year.
Applicants must work or live in London.
Applicants must be unable to purchase a suitable home to meet their housing needs on the open market.
Savings
You must be saving to purchase your home on a shared ownership basis within 10 years
Priority
Priority for properties is given in the following order:
social tenants - council and housing association tenants
returning Ministry of Defence personnel
those threatened with homelessness
those on a high band on the council register (Bands A, B and C)
those who live and work in Hillingdon but are not yet registered
those who live in Hillingdon but work elsewhere
those who work in Hillingdon but live elsewhere
those with no connection to Hillingdon
