Early years update
Further to the petition hearings of Wednesday 2 November 2022, the council confirmed that it would not be implementing the previous decision made on Thursday 4 August regarding the closure of the 3 nurseries in Hillingdon. The decision to withdraw the decision of Thursday 4 August 2022 was formally reported at Cabinet on Thursday 10 November 2022.
The council will now take time to consider the options in relation to service delivery. Any decision about the future of the nurseries will not be taken without consultation. We will not be making further comments or commitments at this stage other than to confirm that the nurseries are operating as usual.
