It is illegal to offer vehicles for sale in the street, and we will take action against anyone selling motor vehicles for commercial purposes from a public road.
We can take action to have vehicles removed or the current owners prosecuted, which may lead to a fine of up to £1,000.
Please note: We will not take action against individual residents offering their privately-owned car for sale from outside their own property (provided this is not part of a trade in motor vehicles).

- details of the car(s) for sale, including telephone number, registration number, make, model and colour
- the exact location of the vehicle, and the effect it is having on you
- website address (if advertised).
