Counter fraud and enforcement

Hillingdon Council is committed to its statutory enforcement responsibilities as a regulator under the Legislative and Regulatory Reform Act 2006 and Regulators' Code, and as a prosecution authority under the Local Government Act 1972.

The following policies underpin these commitments and are in line with the council's vision of 'putting our residents first' by ensuring there are robust safeguards against the unlawful loss of taxpayer funds, and the appropriate enforcement of the law.
