Bikeability Level 1 and 2 Safer Cycling Course
Bikeability is the current cycling proficiency scheme that enables children to complete Levels 1, 2 and 3 (where applicable) to be safer cyclists on the roads.
The Bikeability programme is designed to give the next generation the skills and confidence to cycle on quiet roads independently.
Our cycle team of qualified instructors deliver a combined Level 1 and 2 course to pupils in year 6 and above. Courses are arranged through the requesting primary school within the borough for their year 6 pupils.
If you have a child in year 6 or above, please check with the school as they may have already requested the course to be delivered during the school year. If not, please ask the school to contact us on the following email address cycling@hillingdon.gov.uk.

- Riders must be able to ride a bike at a basic level of competence unaided. To include, cycle in a straight line, cycle one handed (left and right), use brakes to slow-down/stop.
