Courses for adults with learning difficulties and disabilities
Are you looking to extend your skills in a friendly environment that will cater to your additional learning needs?
Learn with experienced staff in safe, friendly and fun classes, where you can make new friends, enjoy learning new skills, develop confidence and participate in team activities that contribute to events in the local and wider community.
Every year, we help a variety of learners with learning difficulties and disabilities take the next step in their learning journeys with our courses, which support independent living and skills for work.

- plan, budget, shop for and prepare a healthy meal
- contribute to creative crafts projects
- get active with our health and wellbeing courses
- discover your hidden talents
- improve your english, maths and digital skills.

Course groups
We want you to learn a range of skills, so we have organised our courses into 4 different types.

(you will need to have an interview before enrolling on these courses)
Whatever course you choose, you will be supported, have fun and expand your skills base.
Booking your place on a course
Once you have chosen 4 courses from any of the 4 course groups above, complete our online Course Request Form, with:
- your name and contact details
- your preferred courses, listing your favourite 1st.
Complete our ALDD Course Request Form
If needed, ask your parents/carers for help.
We will contact you and confirm which courses you can enrol on and help you enrol on your courses.
We will do our best to place you in your preferred course but remember to choose something different if you studied with us last year.
All courses are termly. You can choose to enrol on different courses through the year or enrol for all 3 terms of any course.
